Youth Dance Classes in Waukesha
Not sure where to Start?
New to dance, or new to our studio? You don't have to figure out the right class on your own. Tell us your child's age and any experience they have, and we'll point you to the right fit.
For younger dancers, classes are grouped by age. For ages 12–13 and up, classes are grouped by age and ability, so a beginning teen and an experienced one land in the right place.

Dance Basics
(AGES 3–5)
Tuesdays 4:20pm - 5:10pm
Saturdays 9:30am - 10:20am
A playful first "real" class for our youngest solo dancers. Through creative movement, rhythm games, and age-appropriate ballet, dancers build coordination, listening skills, and confidence. Lessons follow fun themes — shapes, colors, animals, princes and princesses, holidays — so learning always feels like play.
Ballet Classes

Ballet For Kids
(AGES 9-12)
Mondays 4:30pm - 5:30pm
The foundation beneath every other dance style. In a supportive, age-appropriate class, young dancers build grace, poise, core strength, and discipline while learning classical vocabulary through barre work, center combinations, turns, jumps, and leaps. Structured and rewarding, ballet gives kids the technical base that makes every other style easier — and a sense of accomplishment that builds real confidence.

Beginning/Intermediate Ballet

Intermediate/Advanced Ballet
(AGES 12+)
Mondays 6:40pm - 8:00pm
Serious technique for dancers ready to take ballet further. Grouped by age and ability, these classes deepen classical vocabulary, alignment, and strength through barre, center work, adagio, allegro, turns, and traveling combinations. Whether your dancer is continuing from earlier classes or starting ballet as a teen, they'll be placed at the right level — with a clear path toward pre-pointe and pointe for those who pursue it.

Pre-Pointe/Pointe
(AGES 13+)
(with instructor consent)
Mondays 8:05pm - 8:55pm
For serious ballet students working toward or dancing on pointe. All new pointe dancers begin in pre-pointe to build the ankle, foot, and core strength pointe requires. Enrollment requires instructor approval.
